First of all, thank you to everyone who showed an interest in this tournament, and especially those who played. Congratulations to FD for winning the league after a stunning 1-flag win in the final against .eZ| on shine. Below will be a small (or rather long) summary of the entire league.

Started as a fail
We started off at 2pm gmt with 7 teams signed up, but only 3 of them showed up in time. We agreed to do a 10 minute grace period, but even after 40 minutes none of the remaining teams had showed up. One of the teams even asked us if we could postpone it until 8pm or something, which was clearly not acceptable. After an hour, we decided something had to be done, and we decided to put the four teams that were there (FD, CYKA, eZ and FraBe) into one group, let them play each other, and the two best teams in the group would play for title in a final. This, however, went pretty smoothly, and I'm pretty sure everyone (more or less) enjoyed it.


The teams
The four teams that in the end were participating in the league were:
FD* : Endgame and Teapot, with Federico, armagedon and Gazda as subs
.eZ| : Rush and Graziano
CYKA| : Undead and Sveark, with Million as a sub
FraBe| : Lucas, Honor and Dam.


The group stage
For the group stage, there were a total of six matches, happening on three different maps: First two matches were on sunset, then two on the beloved cavern1.2, and the final two on elevation. The matches will be described a bit more below.

FD secured the clearest win of the day when playing the two frenchies, Lucas and Honor, on elevation. After two games of 10 minutes, FD managed to score a stunning amount of 18 flags against FraBe's 5 flags.

With this, we ended up with this table:

Grand Final: FD* vs .eZ|
The match was being played on the very popular map, ac_shine, and after a very intense first round, .eZ| were ahead with two flags, 5-3.

After that round, the teams switched the sides and played it once more, where FD quickly got a two flag lead, making it a tie. It was a really tight game, where .eZ| often managed to get the one flag behind, making them the champions, but after an insane ending, FD manage to come back, getting three flags ahead, making them the winners of the final by one flag, 10-9.

With this, they are the ultimate champions of the first .rC| league by going though the entire group stage and final stage undefeated.

I would also, once again, like to thank everyone who took interest in the league, and even if we got a bit screwed over by the AC forums going down, we still managed to get a small tournament going. Especially a huge thanks to the four teams that had to deal with our improvising, FD, eZ, CYKA and FraBe. We'll hopefully see you all in the next tournament.
